In a constant struggle with the dwarf pine that always threatens the sparse and rocky pastures, Malga Galmarara Pastorile represents a typical high-altitude environment. The area is of high value due to the presence of rare flora and fauna and is characterized by evident karstic phenomena. Sinkholes, swallow holes and caverns are visible from almost anywhere; it is not rare to risk losing your sense of direction in foggy conditions. Its pastures are found between the region of Granari di Galmarara to the south and Dosso del Cuvolin to the north, all the way to the northern edge of the Plateau.
\nThe area of Busa del Molton is also part of the malga pasture, to the west of Malaga Galmarara.
