The malga is located north of the Marcesina I Lotto and spreads out to the west all the way to the edge of the Frattine wood and to the east all the way to the Forcellona wood. Within its border there is the collection point for the aqueduct fed by the waters of the nearby peat bog. In its vicinity are located the so-called “Casonetti,” ancient and spartan wooden dwellings with a sheet metal roof, which originally provided logistical support for logging and pasture maintenance.
\nFrom this malga, where it is possible to taste typical local cheeses, starts the old dirt road that connects the different malgas of the Piana, which is particularly suggestive and perfect for a walk.
