Malga Valmaron – I Lotto is the first of a series of malgas with pastures that occupy the area from which they take their name. Part of its pastures, some of which are located on steep slopes, overlooks Valsugana, through the Val di Tana.
\nNot far from the malga is the peak of Monte Lisser, where the Italian army fort of the same name can be visited. Entirely restored, it is very interesting from an architectural point of view for being constructed with very white skilfully squared limestone blocks.
\nDespite the damage caused in 2018 by the strong winds of the Vaia Storm, vast spruce woods still characterize the Nordic type landscape, providing spectacular views.
