This malga has recently been restructured and it is located in an area with some of the lowest temperatures on the Plateau in the winter due to the phenomenon of temperature inversion typical of narrow valleys like this one. In some areas this phenomenon also affects the type of vegetation. Nearly everywhere at the edge of the wood there are hazelnut trees, which are annually contained in their natural expansion by the malga operator. The grazing surfaces, moderately productive, have modest altitude variations and are made of rich pastures in the central part and more meagre pastureson the outer edges which are partially occupied by strips of forest. Here, in the hottest season, you may find animals seeking some coolness in the rich brushwood.
