Malga Val Forbice can be found not far from the University of Padua Astrophysical Observatory telescope dome on the peak of Monte Ekar, and stretches on the north-west of the summit. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the central hollow of Asiago and the western part of the Plateau.
\nThe malga pasture is mainly rich and becomes meagre on the outer edge strips near the forest. The area is characterized by a wide presence of beech trees, which are frequently cut: they are scattered or in small groups within the pastures. On the prairies destined for foraging, hidden in the grass, precious species such as the Turk\u2019s cap lily and mountain orchids are not uncommon.
\nNearby, there is the trail named in memory of Maestro Patrizio Rigoni. It is a long, looping itinerary, along which about twenty works of art are distributed, including sculptures, paintings, and engravings.
