Malga Corno stands on the southern slope of the mountain with the same name and has a view that on the clearest days looks over the plain as far as the Venitian lagoon and the Apennine Mountains. Its pastures bloom with a variety of colours and scents that last from spring to autumn. Its shallow terrain often shows outcropping boulders of red ammonite, the Jurassic rock that characterizes this area. On some rocky cliffs surrounded by pasture, lies the Giardino Botanico Alpino (Alpine Botanical Garden) whose aim is to conserve vegetable species that represent the main habitats of the Plateau. The grooves of the trenches and the artillery stations that the Italian Military and the British and French allies built during the Great War are still visible; near the malga you can find the monument dedicated \u201cAl caduto ignoto per la libert\u00e0\u201d (\u201cto the unknown soldier who died for freedom\u201d), a monument with a particular structure with four huge intertwined veils made of cement that can be seen even from the plain.
