Malga Busette is located in a hollow at the northern edge of Val di Nos, in the area where the slopes are less steep between Monte Colombara to the west and Monte Fiara to the east. The main pasture area is near the malga, surrounded by spruce woods, shrubby areas colonized by dwarf pine and rhododendron and scattered concentrations of beech trees. The malga has great potential for tourism, both for the splendid landscape that surrounds it and the possibility of being reachable on foot and by bike from the center of Gallio (along the trail there are equipped rest areas and an educational forest trail of the Val di Nos), or from the nearby Longara di dietro and Longara davanti malgas. The area is very popular in winter for snowshoe hiking and walks on beaten paths. In the future the Municipality of Gallio intends to enlarge the structure and develop its activities, among which summertime mountain sheep grazing, cheese production and the selling of goat cheese which has become increasingly popular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
