Malga Zovetto is located on the summit of the mountain with the same name. From the malga, your gaze spans over a large part of the territory, offering an unusual perspective of the Plateau seen from the south.
\nIts pasture borders the hazelnut and spruce wood and is particularly lush thanks to a combination of favourable conditions: the altitude, the \u201cpanettone\u201d (domed) shape of the peak and the fertile soil, derived from the geological substrate which in this area is composed of red ammonite and biancone marble.
\nMonte Zovetto is part of the Ecomuseo della Grande Guerra delle Prealpi Vicentine: actually, here several historical testimonies can be found, among which the nearby memorial stone commemorating the Brigata Liguria – who resisted the Austro-Hungarian attacks in 1916 -, a peculiar fortified trench built by the English divisions using the limestone boulders that outcrop from the pasture; there are also two cemeteries in Valmagnaboschi locality, an Italian one and a British one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
