Malga Camporos\u00e0 is situated at the border with the Province of Trento, in a vast hollow between Altopiano di Vezzena to the west and the massif of Monte Verena to the east. Together with Malga Posellaro, it is particularly suited for the mountain pasture: it is situated at an ideal altitude, is rich of water and has fertile soil. Exposed to the south, it is characterized by vast, almost level pastures that fall within the Poion alpinae subalpine mountain variety. Among its buildings, there is also an old military station of the Italian Guardia di Finanza (Financial Police), as that was the border of the Austro-Hungarian Empire before the Great War. Along the road that leads to this malga there is one of the rare springs of the Plateau which is said to have been luckily discovered by a coal miner, who, putting his ear to the ground in a moment of rest, heard the noise of running water. The road network that connects the malgas in the area is used for cross-country skiing in winter.
