Malga Pusterle is located in a lush valley at the foot of the steep northern ridge of Monte Verena. The malga pastures, thick with vegetation in their central part, are surrounded by coniferous forests on the outer edges. A precious local spring supplies basins with the water necessary to livestock and to the various activities of the malga.
\nFrom the malga\u2019s terrace you can enjoy a unique landscape that faces the overhanging wall of Monte Verena to the south, the Cima Portule ridge to the east, and Cima Larici and Cima Manderiolo to the north-west.
\nThis malga may be reached on foot by following the naturalistic itinerary of the Ghertele Ecomuseum; nearby it is also possible to take the \u201cMulattiera dei forestali\u201d (Forest mule track) and the Kanepel-bek trail, an ancient path that was once used for tobacco smuggling.
