General information and news

Itinerary that leads to the discovery of the malgas in the area, including those that occupy the entire summit part of the Melette di Foza mountain complex. From these locations, spectacular scenery can be enjoyed and the remains of the cruel clashes that took place during the First World War are highly visible, recovered and promoted within the Ecomuseo della Grande Guerra Prealpi Vicentine which, thanks to a Literary Itinerary, connects trenches, tunnels, observation and artillery posts, and commemorative monuments.
The view over Val Miela and the central basin of the Plateau is spectacular from the Observatory of Malga Montagnanova, which can be reached from the malga with a brief descent onto the pasture.
The demanding initial ascent, repaid in full by the beauty of the places reached, lets you arrive at the highest point of the itinerary near Malga Montagnanova. Thanks to the recently built road connection with Malga Slapeur, the tour of the Melette di Foza can be completed from here with a looping route and you can return to the starting point on primarily downhill roads.

Mountains in the area: Monte Badenecche, Monte Tondarecar, Monte Miela, Monte Spil, Monte Fior, Monte Castelgomberto, Monte Meletta di Gallio.
