ITINERARY I1
Roana Lake – Verena – Campolongo

Length: 32,3 km
Difference in elevation: 870 m
Difficulty: Intermediate

Itinerary that runs through the western sector of the Plateau on the slopes of the mountainous massif dominated by Monte Verena, through pastures, malgas, and forests of the Roana and Rotzo Municipalities. After a rather demanding initial ascent, the route stays substantially at high altitude until the final descent the leads to Roana Lake…

Monte Verena trail

Length: 27 km
Difference in elevation: 710 m
Difficulty: Intermediate

Itinerary that runs through the western sector of the Plateau, completing a true loop around Monte Verena, through pastures, malgas, and forests of the Roana and Rotzo Municipalities. After a rather demanding initial ascent, the route stays substantially at high altitude until Malga Mandrielle Vecchio Patrimonio. From here, a descending section leads to the beginning of the Forestry Road…

Ghertele Ecological Museum

Length: 4,77 km
Difference in elevation: 160 m
Difficulty: Easy

Suitable for beginners/families
Itinerary suitable for all which goes from Ghertele locality to Malga Pusterle, passing through extremely interesting locations from an environmental and historical point of view. Ideal for a day immersed in the greenery of the pastures at the foot of the steep northern slope of Monte Verena, this is a very popular excursion even among families with children…

Rotzo Malgas trail

Length:14,2 km
Difference in elevation: 230 m
Difficulty: Intermediate

Itinerary that runs through the western sector of the Plateau through pastures, malgas, and forests of the Rotzo Municipality. After the departure from Rifugio Campolongo, the route descends towards the Trugole and Posellaro malgas to then go up to Malga Mandrielle Vecchio Patrimonio, from which point, it remains substantially at high altitude until the return. The area is dominated by Forte Campolongo and Forte Verena, Ecomuseo della Grande Guerra Prealpi Vicentine…
