Starting point at the Melette ski area. Move uphill along the trail that goes westward until you reach Malga Longara davanti. From here continue along the ridge until you reach Malga Longara di dietro and the monument dedicated to Pope John Paul II. From here it is possible to reach an interesting and panoramic observatory of the Great War moving forward and returning on the trail that goes west. From the monument, go downhill then north towards the Rifugio Campomulo and at the end, following the asphalted road, return downhill to the starting point.

General information and news

Itinerary suitable for all that allows you to enjoy the scenic view along the entire crest of Monte Baldo, towards the central basin of the Plateau and the surrounding hills.
Along the path, various signs of the Great War can be found, including the remains of trenches in the Monte Ongara and Monte Baldo pastures, as well as emplacements and observation points near Monte Cimon.
The highest part of the route coincides with the CAI 850 Gallio/Fiara trail.

The same itinerary can also be taken on a bicycle, even departing from the center of Gallio, climbing on dirt roads along the Val di Nos or reaching the starting point for the LeMelette systems directly on paved road.
